Consulting

consult-smStarting a business is all at once the most exciting, and the most terrifying thing you may ever do.

The risks are huge, but conversely, so are the rewards. At a time when headlines force us to take a more serious look at our financial future, the idea of being your own boss may have never seemed more appealing.

Just as a guide would assist you as you navigate the terrain in an unfamiliar land, having a coach or consultant at your side can dramatically reduce the potential for falling prey to the dangers that claim many would-be startups.

We’re talking about more than just treading lightly around the landmines — we’re talking about plotting a new course that will deliver you safely to your chosen destination.

There are inherent differences between coaches and consultants, and it is important to understand the differences between the two.

A consultant will assess a business, client or situation, present options to solve problems or obstacles, and will often play a very active role in implementing those solutions. In some cases, a consultant may even implement the solution on behalf of their client.

A coach will look at that same business, client or situation, and work directly with them to identify the obstacles or problems. A coach will remain objective, and brainstorm with you to identify solutions. A coach will help you stay motivated, hold you accountable, and serve as a continuing source of inspiration, energy and support as you implement the solutions.

Businesses, like people, rarely fit into one simple category, and their needs seldom do, either.

That said, my work often requires a blending of both disciplines in order to meet a specific clients’ needs. Whether you are looking for a fresh pair of eyes, a new plan of attack, or a well-deserved kick in the pants, I stand ready and willing to jump in and help you tackle the task at hand.

Rave Reviews:

“I want to take a moment to share a well kept secret with you. Several months ago I met Traci Vanover “The Promo Diva” in an online forum and to my surprise I struck a bit of gold! I have been an Internet Marketer for just over a year and a half, and after being let down time and time again I finally met a coach who gets it and has the experience to back it up. There are several professionals out there that are good, but if you want to work with one of the best, then you need to do yourself a favor and contact Traci Vanover.

My great idea turned business has sputtered for the past year. Within two months of working with Traci my business is now growing everyday and now the light at the end of the tunnel is shining a lot brighter! Traci’s professionalism and Integrity is top notch. She has always over delivered with all of my projects. Internet marketing is complex and there are many moving parts. It’s vital for me to work with someone who is experienced and more importantly cares about my success. I strongly suggest you give “The Promo Diva” a look.”  - Brian Blanc – CEO, Green Stream Marketing Solutions

“Traci: Thank you very much for the website design and content. You went above and beyond all expectations, especially for that price. It has been a pleasure working with you. You are now on my speed dial so we will be working together again real soon. Thanks again.”
- Garrett McCabe – Brainunleashed.com

“Traci’s coaching has been invaluable to me as I’ve struggled to learn the intricacies of Internet marketing and get a handle on the technology that is now enabling me to realize new dreams as a writer and ePublisher. A constant source of encouragement, she knows just how to “push my buttons” to motivate me onward and upward. When you don’t have years to learn what you need to know to succeed in a business on the Web, talk to Traci. She has what it takes to quickly shift your business into high gear.”

“The Creative Concept was a life saver for my company. When our business was at the point where I could no longer do EVERYTHING, and things were falling off the table, not because of neglect but because of “not having the time” to do it all, Traci was to the rescue. I met her at a soap conference years ago and her friendliness attracted me. I’m so glad that it did! Without her help, I know that I could not have grown my business 45% in a hard economic year. She has done everything from designing and printing my business cards, business stock and promotional materials to a whole redesign of my website, including search engine submissions. The search engine upgrades alone brought business from people I would have otherwise never knew. Before her, my website didn’t get hits by people finding us from a google search, but now we average 20% of our hits as new customers. Traci has helped tremendously in getting our newsletters out and finding new promotional avenues for us to explore. I’m so grateful for finding The Creative Concept for my business and having Traci as a “business partner” to help my business GROW.”
- Amy Oliver, Owner, Country Bee Soaps

“If you happen to be a person who is long on imagination and very short on technical smarts like me, you need Traci.  Yes, she works happily with highly skilled businesspeople (since she is one herself), but she also has the ability to install, fix, design and most important EXPLAIN mysterious computer things to The Bewildered.  She can take you where you are, and figure out where you should be, and do it all with a kind of ease that restores your faith in techies.

I have learned tons from Traci, and she is so basically kind and decent that she even made it fun (well, most of it).  I wish I had met her a long time ago.”

“If you’re a small-business owner, The Creative Concept should be your first call. Traci and her crew continues to have ideas for my jewelry business that I would never have dreamed of. My Web site has never looked better, functioned better, or garnered as much traffic as it does now. The Creative Concept offers so many marketing options and has followed through on every one of my projects beyond expectations. It’s hands down the very best investment in my business.”

Am I the Right Choice For You?

Due to the popularity of my service portfolio, and the time commitment needed to perform those services, I regret that I must be selective in accepting clients. It is paramount to me that you find the coach or consultant that is best suited to your needs — one that can devote the time, energy and expertise that you deserve.

In order to become one of my coaching/consulting clients, we need to identify whether or not we’d be well suited to working together. Take a moment and look over the brief self-assessment below.

  • I am willing to accept responsibility for my business, and will accept constructive criticism when applicable.
  • I am willing to listen to suggestions, and consider new methodologies.
  • I am willing to invest in the success of my business.
  • I will commit to the time requirements needed to participate in the program.
  • I am ready to claim the success that I deserve.
